Who are we raising money for?
The proceeds from the Bags for Boards Tournament will benefit Samaritan's Touch Physical Therapy, a free, student-organized physical therapy clinic, which is located at the UK Good Samaritan Physical Therapy Center in Lexington, Kentucky. The clinic is open from 5:30-8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Patients can self-refer or be referred by a healthcare provider. Appointments can be made by calling (859)218-0544. Additionally, some of the proceeds will benefit the University of Kentucky's Physical Therapy Class of 2013. Proceeds will help with the costs of taking the national physical therapy boards test that all students must take in order to become practioning, licensed therapists.
